The aim of the tier 4 immigration is to provide a more streamlined, transparent route to studying in the UK.

Under this system the student has to achieve 40 points.

The student gets 30 points upon successful admission in any of the sponsor colleges which have an “A” rating. And he/she gets the remaining 10 points on presenting proofs showing financial independence in terms of course fees and maintenance charges.

The student can also apply for a Work Permit after the course completion. Spouse immigration is allowed for married partners.
